A weekend with Dina Wakley !!!

Have just spent the last weekend in Harrogate at 'Art from the Heart' with the very fabulously talented and all round lovely Dina Wakley......
I looooove Dina's carefree style and attitude to Art,  and her true passion for what she does shines through with every page she creates.

We spent the whole weekend learning new techniques with acrylics (which are my favourite medium) and exploring different paint processes which could then be used in journal pages.....

Sunday was spent putting some of our new paint techniques to use creating journal pages with a difference. Interactive pages with cuts and folds......I was reluctant at first to want to cut out parts of my pages but that's why we were there right !! To be out of our comfort zone and create new things !!!!
The resulting pages are full of interest and  even though I'm not quite finished yet I loooove how they look together and will definately be trying this again !!!!

A great weekend was spent with some lovely ladies and can't wait for Dina to wing her way back to the UK again for some more awesome classes. If you ever get the chance to take classes with her I would highly recommend it

Bright and painty hugs
