I went to Canada 😱😱😱

So last weekend I was fortunate enough to be asked by Natalie Weiser of Scrapbook Centrale to go to Montreal in Canada to teach a whole weekend of mixed media and art Journalling....I know right !!!...can you believe it... How honoured was I !!

I don't mind telling you I was more than a little bit nervous but there really was no need to worry....

I was lucky enough to have the most amazing host and to top it off I have fabulous at enemy's too.

All the ladies... and gent of course (couldn't possibly forget you Robert) we're so welcoming and made me feel right at home.

A great time was had by everyone and over the course of the 3 days I taught 4 classes to my lovely new Canadian friends and of course they produced some stunning results.....

Friday nights mandala class was a real success and within a couple of hours I had them producing their very own dot mandalas.... Such amazing results...

How fab are they 😂😂😂

Friday's daytime class was a mixed media canvas and I can honestly say everyone did such amazing job.., they look stunning ladies ❤️❤️❤️

Unfortunately I didn't manage to take any more photos of the last two classes as I was far too busy having fun !!!

What a truly amazing weekend with the most warm and friendly people...

Au revoir Monteal...until we meet again ❤️❤️❤️

Paperartsy new release January 2018

Hey there beautiful people, long time no post, the days seem to run into weeks and the weeks into months (sigh!!!)

I'm here today with my new release stamps and masks for PaperArtsy

Tracy has created 3 pairs of stamps that link to each other with supporting imagery. Plus stencils! I'm sure you will enjoy the flexible nature of her stamps and products. Plus we have some gorgeous new paints too!

Hi everyone, Welcome to 2018, Tracy here with you tonight to show you my brand new stamp and stencil releases.
And of course who doesn't love new paint colours !!!

I'm so very excited about this new release and as usual my latest releases are of course my favourites and I hope that you love them as much as I do.
I wanted to try some different styles for this release and Leandra came up with the idea of doing paired stamp sets so that I could explore those ideas. I love creating stamp sets that I can use myself for my mixed media projects and art journaling which I am completely passionate about but as always I try to make my stamps sets as versatile as possible so that they can be used in all aspects of arts and crafts. I am thrilled with the results and cant wait to see how you interpret the new releases into your own projects.

Today there are 3 blog posts to enjoy, from myself, Ingrid Vichova and Wendy Mallas I just love Ingrid and Wendy's work, their ability to think outside the box just amazes me every time, it has been an absolute please working with these two lovely ladies on these new releases and oh boy have they got some gorgeous samples to show you tonight so keep tuned......
All of our blog posts will publish within 30 mins of each other, so the links will be active once published.

Ok grab a cup of tea, sit back and be prepared for an explosion of colour as we start with some ideas with each of the new products.......

'Happy' ATC using ETS14

I very often add all sorts of scribbles to my art journal pages whether it be to outline something, as a background element or as a focal doodle. So for this release there definitely had to be some scribble stamps. For this ATC I used one of the scribble focal elements as well as the scribble text to stamp all of the background mount.

I just love the effect it gives !!

Another ATC using the same format and a different focal scribble image from the set, adding a simple word and some hand scribbled detail in white finishes the card nicely don't you think.

'Joy' ATC using ETS15

I am so in love with these scribbly elements that I just could stop at one stamp set and had to design another with complimenting elements. Here I used the large scribbled circle element to complete my ATC... and don't you just love those fantastic colours !!.

And of course how can you have a scribbly stamp set without scribbly flowers, I just adore how these 'scribbly' designed have turned out and can see these being a firm favourite and a staple in my art projects for a long time to come.

'Beautiful' Postcard using ETS16

So as you probably know by now I LOVE a flower stamp or two!!... and for this release of course there had to be flowers in there somewhere.
I love designing elements that can be used to create layers too, so that I am able to create projects with a 3D element.

Ooooooo look at all those lovely flowery layers, don't they look fabulous with those leaves (i layered up the large flower stamp and leaves from ETS16 with the smaller flower elements from ETS17 which you will see below)

Layered Florals using ETS17

Its not very often that I create clean and simple projects (to be honest hardly ever!!) but I do love the clean lines of this design with a real pop of bright colour added in through the 3D layered flowers (i used the large flower from ETS16 and layered the smaller flowers from this set on top) finishing the project with the word stamp 'beautiful' incorporated into the stem.

Look at the pop of colour that these beauty's create against a simple black and white background, I added one of the bubble circle elements as the finishing touch to the centre of my flowers.

ATC Trio using ETS18

Multi coloured layers of retro loveliness !!!... so for my last two sets I wanted to design stamps with a bit of a retro vibe.
Elements that could be used on their own, layered together or layered with existing stamp sets to update existing designs. More leaf and vine elements were also added to this set that can be coordinated and again that could be layered and added to existing stamp sets to create a whole new look.

Retro Bloom Trio using ETS19

I love to take simple elements and turn them into a stylish design. For this trio I kept the design to 3 colours and alternated them on each card to create a coordinated look.
I took the simple border element from this set and used this as a stem for my retro flowers (the square element used for the flower head was taken from ETS18) I popped the flower heads up on 3D foam and added a single word on each for a simple but stunning set of cards.

Background Mask using PS087

For a while now I have wanted to design some doodled flower masks that would co-ordinate with existing stamps sets and thought that now was the right time to launch these.
I love using masks in my art journal pages as they can add instant impact to your designs by using the whole mask but can also add interesting elements to your projects by breaking up the design. Here I have offset the design for maximum impact.
For the finishing touch I have added some of the scribble flowers from ETS15 to create a 3D element and doodled on top of the design with a white gel pen.

Background Mask 2 using PS088

Almost instantly I knew I wanted to create a trio project with these masks, they were just screaming out for it !!.

Background Mask 3 using PS089

An this one finishes of the trio, I just love how these can be used as a focal element on their own but can also be used to coordinate with each other for a multi element project.

Don't they look amazing when all shown as a complete project !!!

Aren't they all fabulous (even if I do sat so myself!!), I've shown some more ideas below as there were just too many bursting out of my head.....

WOW !! lots of ideas to get you started with my new designs but be sure to check out Ingrid and Wendy's posts tonight for loads more fabulous projects and inspiration.

I am very fortunate to be able to continually express my ideas for new designs, and of course am thankful to the 'Magic Fairies' at PaperArtsy for making my ideas a reality.

And of course last but by no means least I am truly grateful to all of you for the continued support you all show me with every new release enabling me to continue to make my dream a reality.
